Description: Lumpen magazine has been published for 24 years by Ed Marszewski and friends, and this beer was created to celebrate 123 issues of stellar art and articles from dozens of talented, creative people. We made this IPA a little different than most. There's plenty of body from caramel malts, a little roast from dark grains, and lots of Falconer's Flight hop blend. The blend is comprised of many of the Northwest's most unique hop varieties, including Citra, Simcoe, and Sorachi Ace from Japan, along with experimental hops and numerous other NW varieties. We didn't think that was enough, so we added a little more citra and cascade. Brown IPA isn't an official beer style yet, and we want to help change that. Have a toast to Lumpen!
