Description: This fresh hopped American Red Ale features hops grown locally by Umpqua Hops, a small hop yard started by Cody Parker of Melrose Vineyards. Twenty two pounds of Centennial Hops went into the kettle within a few hours after being picked off the vine. Some dried hops were used as well to provide bitterness and balance out the Red X Malt base. The fresh hops add a unique local flavor to this approachable easy-drinking Red Ale.
