Description: Because Aaron stole the super-traditional choice for a barrel-aged beer, Zack wanted to do something weird. Being from Kentucky and harboring an affinity for bourbon, he decided to brew Old Fashioned, a beer to resemble the classic cocktail. To do this, he built a malt bill reminiscent of bourbon mash, with a large percentage of corn, followed by some barley and rye. After barrel-aging for about a month, Zack added orange zest and angostura bitters to finish it out.
