Description: Our friend, Marcus from Weathered Souls Brewing in San Antonio, TX messaged us and said he was visiting his family in Sacramento. Naturally we knew we had to brew a collaboration and gave ourselves the task of coming up with a new idea. Not wanting to use the same usual ingredients Marcus suggested we make an Imperial Stout w/ Chai Tea. We thought that sounded interesting so we gave it a shot. Chai Times is an 11.3% Imperial Stout consisting of Chai as well as Congolese and Mexican Vanilla Beans. We sourced the Chai Tea blend of tea from Magic Hour Tea out of Ojai, CA. Immediately on the smell the chai spice is abundant but when taking a sip the tea blend is matched by the sweetness of the stout.
