Description: Imperial Stout Aged 22 months in Wheated Bourbon barrels with single origin Brazil Chamissonnis Vanilla Beans. Normally, when a single barrel stout really stands out as exemplary, we will consider it for release as a Singularity. This time however, since we’d already done a singularity out of this particular type of barrel, we took this one in a slightly different direction. We were lucky enough to get our hands on some ultra-rare Chamissonnis vanilla beans from Brazil, which have a strikingly rich and complex toasted marshmallow flavor with a subtle smokiness. This beer is ultra smooth and bourbon-forward start to finish, with the unique character of the vanilla winding though and lending flavor in all the right places without outshining the barrel. A perfect blend of well-aged stout, One outstanding barrel, and One unique vanilla.
