Description: This Hop Saturated Double IPA (HSDIPA; méthode saturation™️) features pale malt grown and floor malted in California by Admiral Maltings. We hop saturated this 8.4% DIPA by using the mash tun as a hopback with bags of Citra, Comet, and Mandarina Bavaria whole leaf hops and additional Galaxy hops added in the whirlpool. Then we dry hopped it with more Galaxy and Comet hops. The name, Gasket Hunters, comes from an old folklore tradition in the North Western Holy Mountains whereby brave master brewers gather together and dig through bins and bins of spent grains in search of the great lost golden mash tun door gasket. Found it!
