Description: The 1st in our new "Accidentally on Purpose" series. This is our series of barrel aged sour ales we've been aging these past few years. We create as ideal of an aging environment within the barrel as possible, we introduce the beer, and then we let forces out of our control do the rest. Sur Lie is a 5.5% ABV sour ale that entered into a white wine oak barrel nearly 2 years ago. When it entered the barrel, it was Cream Ale.
