Description: When we started experimenting two years ago with a hardwood smoked barley, it was only a matter of time before it showed up in our beer. In searching for flavors to pair it with, the brewery reached back a decade to our Annual Release ‘05 for inspiration. There, they found exactly what they were looking for. This time, instead of adding cocoa to the beer, they used brand new barley that was specially malted to bring out this flavor. Think chocolate. Think bacon.
