Description: We've always been a fan of Sweet Stouts, where the addition of lactose powder adds a light, pleasant sweetness that nicely balances the roasty, chocolate flavours of the dark malts used in the grist, and boosts the mouthfeel slightly. We also added Ethiopian Yirgacheffe coffee beans from local Jonnie Java Roasters after primary fermentation was complete, to give plenty of coffee aroma.
