Description: This session IPA twins the unique intense tropical fruit punch of Citra hops, the relatively 'old school' robust grapefruit and spicy pine kick of Chinook for a silky IPA layered with fruit complexity and a zesty finish. For maximum impact we doubled both our whirlpool and our dry hop addition rate versus that typically used in our core session range. To support this hopping in the base beer, we used a high percentage of flaked oats and malted wheat in the grist to make the mouthfeel as full as possible. We added Vienna malt to create a backbone for added depth and character. This is a session beer that drinks bigger than it’s lower ABV would lead you to believe, and dare we say as juicy as our resident Graces heart throb Billy’s bass licks.
