Description: We teamed up with another southern guest for our second Northern Heroes IPA. Kyle Larsen, head brewer of Berkshire’s craft brew himself actually heralds from the North West of the USA which inspired this San Diego, west coast (or to him, the south) Double IPA. True to style, this beer has a simple grist and crispness derived from a dextrose addition and the classic California yeast strain used for fermentation. We hopped heavy in the whirlpool for a prominent yet soft bitterness and then dry hopped well with Simcoe and Ekuanot for the classic double punch of resinous pine and citrus bite.
