Description: One off Public House only special release 10/14/2014: Spontaneously fermented Berlinner Weisse with raspberries. Berlinner Weisse is a cloudy, sour beer originating in Germany. It is made with a high percentage of wheat and made tart with lactobacillus. Traditionally they were sweetened with syrups at serving, sometimes made of Raspberry or Woodruff. Admiral Raspberry is our Reunification Berlinner Weisse fermented in a small coolship (open air fermenter ) with Raspberries. Natural yeast in the air and on the raspberries fermented this beer. Tart, fruity and funky, Admiral Raspberry is a refreshing German wheat beer.
