Description: Single Batch Series release 4/8/2015. Save the Bee 2015, our Grisette de Miel, is a hazy golden colored ale. It has mild aromas of bread, pineapple, melon, and honey from the light handed dry hopping and the use of two types of honey. It is light bodied and refreshing. This sessionable ale finishes with a balanced fruit flavor from the unique Belgian Yeast. Additional notes: Emmer is a grain in the wheat family. The Honey was produced in the Willamette Valley. Both of these unique ingredients may have been used to produce fermentables in beers of long ago. Beer Name Explanation: Save The Bee Ancient Ale was made in conjunction with Eugene’s Glory Bee Foods with many unique ingredients(Emmer, Rye ,Blackberry and Wildflower honey) that may have been used in Ales of Ancient times.
