Description: The Ironclad Series is a progression of limited-release, barrel-aged beers -- whose name harks back to the mighty, armored warships of the 19th century Virginia, and the Battle of Hampton Roads. Ibrik is an Imperial Stout named for the special pots used for production of Turkish coffee. This beer brings together light roasted coffee with dark roasted malts to create a beer with a complex multi palette. The use of freshly ground cardamom and Ceylon cinnamon draw for their inspiration from Turkish coffee and create subtle spice notes that wine with the rich character of this beer. Cheers!
