Description: Despite looking black when poured, if held up to the light, Black Willow has the colour of a dark maple syrup with a tan head. This Maple Walnut Stout has a very robust aroma. There are strong roasted flavours amplified by the walnuts that were toasted in-house. There is a touch of bitterness that lingers but it is balanced by the sweetness of the maple syrup. This sweetness helps this dark beer not be too heavy and very approachable. There are hints of dark chocolate and dark roast coffee. Pair with cool nights and falling leaves.
