Description: It's a black ale, 6.2% abv, brewed from a base of German Heidelberg & Pilsen malts with Melanoidin, Smoked & Spelt malts and some English Black Malt. It was modestly bittered with German Hersbrucker & Tettnanger and finished with English Bramling Cross and fermented with Belgian "Hercules stout yeast" (courtesy of our friends at The Brewer's Art). It has a soft, smooth mouthfeel with a gentle touch of smoke upfront.
