Description: A black IPA at 4.8% ABV it’s not for the faint hearted. This started out as an Autumn special but proved so popular that it’s found it’s way onto our main line up. An oxymoron in name it’s certainly crafted to reveal a paradox. The high ABV might put a lot of people off but it’s surprisingly easy to drink. A sublime modern ale with a smooth coffee like finish it has a mellow silky feel on the tongue belying it’s IBU of 48.2 and it’s jet black shiny finish mirrors it’s SRM of 45.5, it’s always served unfinned so makes it vegan friendly as well.
