Description: This is our second Braggot that we have ever made, following on from Ugly Duckling Braggot, and in some ways its uglier, and in other ways more beautiful. Would any other brewery in the world be brave enough to release this braggot - we dare! Would we release an ale that wasn’t amazing, challenging or delicious.. no! Buckwheat honey has a beautiful, amber colour, smooth texture, drop dead gorgeous flavour, and a curiously aromatic, pony like, leathery aroma. It stays in the finished mead, and so too this Braggot, and might be a tad unsettling for those that have never riden before. However, if we can love a horse called Black Caviar, then we can love a Braggot called Smells Like A Pony
