Description: In the pursuit of elevating a bourbon barrel-aged barleywine, we collaborated with our friends from Marlobobo and embarked on a captivating journey of secondary barrel-aging in ex-mead barrels. These barrels had previously cradled the rich Bourbon BA Bumfuzzle mead from Marlobobo. Our vision was to unite the luscious mead essence with the intricate flavors of the barleywine, resulting in something entirely new. After the barrel-aging, and releasing a small portion of it at Billie's Beer Fest 2023 in Belgium, we decided to blend in a small volume of our Phoenix 2021 Limited, to add another layer of complexity. Please be aware that there is only one single barrel in the universe of this highly exclusive beer. Cheers! We recommend serving the beer at 16-18 centigrades.
