Description: 2017 VERSION: 7% ABV | 70 IBU SuperMonk is an unfiltered and slightly hazy, Belgian style IPA. Keeping the essence of what we love about SuperMonk, we have tweaked a few things in order to give us this year's anticipated batch. Aroma lends notes of a peppery spice and pronounced lemongrass. Upon the first sip, hoppy bitterness dances with the citrus character from the hops and fruitiness from the yeast. This brew is very drinkable and not heavy on the palate. --------------------------------- Part of SanTan Brewing's Seasonal Series, SuperMonk is a slightly hazy, Belgian style IPA. Aroma lends notes of citrus. Upon first sip, hoppy bitterness dances with a slight peppery notes, then gives way to orange and fruit. Very drinkable, not heavy on the palate.
