Description: Our blueberry wit is brewed with 168-lbs of fresh blueberries (more than 10-lbs per barrel of beer). Corvus has hints of clove, banana, black licorice, caramel and of course blueberries. Since we used fresh blueberries rather than extracts, the blueberry notes are far more subtle. The flavors of this beer are quite complex with hints of almonds, hazelnuts, biscuit toastiness, and malty sweetness. The slight bitterness is able to come through and a balanced way due to the dry finish of the beer. Overall the beer is a great homage to summer.
