Description: May 1-9, 2015 marks the first ever Columbus Craft Beer Week. Columbus craft breweries have banded together to concoct collaboration brews to be tapped that week. Smokehouse Brewing Company joins forces with Zaftig and Pigskin Brewing Companies to brew a beer outside any of our comfort zones. We wanted to brew a beer that’s sessionable, yet different. Inspired by the wonders of our galaxy, we decided to brew an unlikely pale ale. We used a yeast that we propogated ourselves. Then we decided to add botanicals, much like a jazz musician would add notes to riff a familiar song. Our galactic herbed pale ale was tapped on May 4. May the Fourth be With You.
