Description: The Viejo Profesional is a rum barrel-aged Robust Porter with hand toasted coconut. After aging our fall seasonal, The Professional, in 30 year-old Puerto Rican rum barrels for 3 months, the porter was blended back into a fermenter and dry hopped with one more addition of coconut. It has a delicate aroma of rum, coconut, and chocolate. Its smooth, silky mouthfeel perfectly compliments the chocolate and coconut flavors, while balancing the roasted characteristics of the malt.
