Description: Our brewers traveled overseas to brew a limited release beer, Keller Märzen, with our friends at Spaten which pays tribute to time-honored brewing tradition. This classic German lager was a Goose Island recipe brewed in the month of March, just as all German Märzen beers have been for centuries. We then lagered this amber-hued beer for several months in the Spatenbrau cellar at near-freezing temperatures-considerably longer than just about any contemporary beer. The result is a smooth, malty, andunfiltered amber lager with light, bready sweetness and a delicate German hop character.
