Description: Spilled Grain Brewhouse and OMNI Brewing (Maple Grove, MN) are excited to announce Outside the Loop #2. With new breweries opening in MN on a regular basis, it can be hard to keep track of which one to visit next! Our goal with the “Outside the Loop” series is to partner with breweries in greater MN to help bring attention to the awesome beer available throughout the state. These beers will be unusual/rare/historical styles or have unique twists on traditional styles as we think “Outside the Loop”. #2 in the series is an amber Biere de Garde, sometimes referred to as a French Saison, this beer was brewed with 100% French malt, hops, and yeast. A fairly strong, malt-accentuated, unfiltered farmhouse style beer with a prominent malty sweetness and complex toasty, toffeelike flavor. It will have some alcohol flavor/warmth and a smooth medium dry malt focused finish. Enjoy one while it lasts and stay tuned for future collaborations as we tour the state!
