Description: The first in a series of Single Malt and Single Hop (SMaSH) beers. This version showcases the subtle sweetness and biscuit of the premium Maris Otter base malt and the citrus/orange/tropical fruit characteristics of the Citra hop variety. This beer is a great lesson in "perceived" hop bitterness. Due to the light body and dry finish, some drinkers will sense the hop character of the beer as more bitter/hoppy than more aggressively hopped beers that have a larger malt presence (i.e. Highest Point IPA).
