Description: Bourbon-Barrel Cryptical is an American Imperial Stout with a dark malt flavor and notes of raspberry and plum. Aged in bourbon barrels for several months, it acquired vanilla and toasted coconut notes. Then it was dosed with a special coffee from Mudhouse Coffee Roasters. The 4C certified coffee is a caturra grown by Carmelo Perdomo, owner of the small Los Nogales farm in Huila, Colombia. With a honey maple aroma, this high grown coffee tastes like a cherry slathered in milk chocolate.
