Description: Sometimes things don’t go right in the brewery and this beer was one of those times. This Double IPA is the result of a “happy” (depending on your point of view) accident, we turned the lemons of that day into a dank, tropical fruit bomb with a dry finish. This West Coast-ish DIPA is hopped with Rakau, Citra, and Mosaic. Intense aromas of pine and melon lead the way with citrus, papaya, and a blend of tropical fruit rounding out the flavors. We didn’t forget the malt on this one though, a bready touch from the blend of Pilsner and Pale Malt gives this beer plenty of malt flavor and heft to compliment the intense hopping. This mishap of a beer should warm your belly and bring a smile to your eye, even if it only caused us stress and unhappiness.
