Description: From the GIANT BEER SERIES, this big and bold American Style stout is dark, rich and roasty with chocolate and coffee flavours. Made with all Horton Ridge malts, some wheat and ale yeast. The RIS won gold at the 2016 Canadian Brewing Awards. Notes: Translucent and dark burgundy in color, while the mochachino colored foam is thick with medium sized bubbles. The aromas are of roasted, caramel, booze and dark fruit. The flavour is reminiscent of cocoa covered roasted coffee beans while this dry stout lends rich, dark chocolate and dark fruit notes with a hint of black licorice.
