Description: Texels Stormbock Texels Stormbock (Texel Storm Bock) is a seasonal, top-fermented craft beer brewed according to age-old traditions. The brewer uses only natural ingredients, such as pure dune-filtered water, four different kinds of roasted malted barleys, a number of specially selected varieties of hops and caramel. Every year, the brewer puts all of his fantasy and inspiration into making a beer, and Stormbock is one of the pleasant, balanced results of him sowing his wild oats. It is a bottle fermented winter bock beer, with lots of body and 9.5% alcohol. The caramel and roasted malted barley give the beer its ruby-red colour and slightly sweet aftertaste, while the various kinds of hops add a twinge of bitterness. All of this results in an elegant and complex taste palette, which makes Stormbock a special beer for the genuine beer lover with time to spare and a comfortable recliner. Stormbock is best served in our elegant goblet at a temperature of 8-10 ºC. In 2008, Stormbock took third place at the annual beer challenge known as ‘The Best-Tasting Dutch Bock Beer’.
