Description: This Imperial Stout was aged for 18 months in a Cedar Ridge (Swisher, IA) Rye barrel. Time in the barrel has increased the alcohol content while at the same time softening the flavor profile. You will notice a hint of pear on the front end that transitions to the classic chocolate, rye and oak undertones you would expect.
