Alongside our friends at Balcones Distilling out of Waco, Texas, we aged our Bayonet stout in port barrels that previously aged Balcones’ Hechicheros single malt whisky, resulting in a complex beer beautifully showcasing Balcones’ barrel character. Aromas of molasses, pumpernickel, and dried plums rise to greet you ahead of notes of toasted oak, dark chocolate, and toasted wheat bread.
