Description: We "borrowed" some wort from a triple IPA brewed by Offshoot Beer Co. and had some experimental fun, allowing it to ferment in oak barrels with Conan yeast and take on a life of its own. After several months of maturation, this Mosaic-hopped ale emerged just in time for Barrel Aged Beer Day 2017 with complex flavors of sweet vanilla, coconut, fresh oak, orange, pineapple and floral notes, further accentuated by the addition of rose petals.
