Description: A sour rye ale that plays beyond the bounds of expectation is no simple task, and our team aimed to take the road not-yet-traveled. Stemming from the hills of Santa Barbara Highlands Vineyard, Roussanne grapes were tasted, hand-selected by our adventurous Bruers, and introduced to Sour in the Rye, blending complex notes of apricot and honeysuckle with a Bruery classic. After naturally developing in premium American Oak barrels for almost a year, Rue Sans emerged a robust ale decorated with a combination of rye, oak, and spice notes.
