Description: 2021 Ambassadors of Sour Release #1 Steep Ravine is a blend of 14-month-old barrel-aged mixed fermentation beer aged on Chenin Blanc grapes and 6-month-old barrel-aged saison. Before blending, the saison portion of the beer was dry-hopped with a copious amount of Mosaic hops imparting a bright tropical character reminiscent of passion fruit, guava, and grapefruit. The Mosaic melds with the mild acidity of the mixed fermentation Chenin Blanc beer, yielding notes of melon, pear, Meyer lemon, and a pronounced tropical Brett expression.⠀ ⠀ Refreshingly tart with notes of citrus and tropical fruits we think that this is a beautiful sour to enjoy after adventuring through Steep Ravine.
