Description: The 2017 NJ peach crop outgrew our usual stainless fruit refermentation vessels, so we added over 400 lbs of quartered, sixthed, and eighthed fresh South Jersey Cresthaven peaches to a single 400L Hungarian oak red wine puncheon of mature Berliner Messe (our spontaneously fermented pale wheat ale). After a three month refermentation/maceration, the beer was racked off of the fruit and bottled unblended in these 1.5L bottles.
