Description: Scythe blends the final barrels of our most interesting and unique wood aging projects. We Aged these for 21 months in Black Star Farms Merlot barrels; 3 Sour Brown and 1 Raspberry Biere Blanche, then blended them back together to make a beer we're very proud of. Bursting with aromatic sourness, Scythe makes way for a balanced, slightly tart wild ale, while backing itself up with notes of French oak and Merlot. A unique experience for sour beer fans, and a wonderful gateway for curious wine aficionados.
