Description: The cresset, a fire basket, used by our cooper to set the bent oak casks into the traditional barrel shape, has always been a focal point for our coopers and brewery workforce, especially on colder days around which they would stand for rather longer than perhaps they ought to keep warm! Cresset Ale is brewed using local Barley, Wheat, Oats and Rye blended with a subtle Fuggle dry hop to give a beautifully subtle, fruity and mellow ale.
