Description: Geek Version: Unfettered CMC Pilsner Malt with faint bread aroma, notes of tannic Chardonnay; Cheerios. Rounded mouthfeel with a white head that may not persist. Dry finish, unique bitterness; unfiltered with a slight haze to maintain the delicate flavor. All Colorado Malting Company (CMC) San Luis Valley Pilsner Malt with a little CMC Dextrin Barley Malt. Nobel hops and 90 lbs. of Haefeli's Honey Farm Rocky Mountain Clover Honey. Translation: Fermented Honey doesn't taste sweet--it creates a white wine-like flavor and aroma with a slight bitterness. We used all San Luis Valley grain, and honey from Haefeli's Honey Farm next door. Light straw color, medium alcohol level, satisfying malt character for this Cologne, Germany style table/pub beer which is usually served in tall juice-style glasses called a "Strange".
