Description: DDH Kalamansi Double Milkshake IPA is a double dry hopped variation on one of our absolute favorite iterations in this Culinary IPA journey, originally dreamt up with our long time buds at @Omnipollo. Brewed with heavy amounts of luscious oats, wheat, and lactose sugar, and conditioned atop twice the amount of Madagascar vanilla beans used in the rest of our Milkshakes. Fermented with an abunance of kalamansi puree (a variety of citrus common in the Philippines) and intensely dry-hopped with the very choicest Mosaic and Citra. Given a secondary dry hop of Riwaka from our recent New Zealand selections, thoughtfully chosen for it’s luscious & creamy guava smoothie like qualities to highlight that we felt plays well with the intense & pungent aspects of the Kalamansi fruit. 9.2% ABV. Notes of very bright & luxurious citrus curd, mango & vanilla combo gelati from John’s on 7th st, Guava soda pop, and that feeling I think you might get siting oceanside in a tropical paradise on a hot hot hot day sipping on some freshly pressed pineapple juice out of a cup made from the same pineapple… =)
