Description: The base beer is a very easy drinking Scottish style ale. With over one hundred pounds of locally grown roasted pie pumpkins added to the boil and a generous amount of kettle caramelization, you will taste notes of burnt sugar and smoke. This beer is very lightly spiced with cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and cardamom. You'll have to be looking for those flavors though because this beer is more of a celebration of fall than it is a pumpkin pie beer. Thanks to Chandler Farms for the pumpkins.
