Description: Bloomer’s Cut is our tribute to Auburn, CA and all of our friends who make it a vibrant craft beer scene. It is named after the 1860s engineering feat, in which a narrow swath of land was cleaved from a large cemented gravel hill near Bloomer Ranch in western Auburn to make way for the Central Pacific Railroad. Bloomer’s Cut is one of our more complex West Coast IPAs. We selected a light pilsner malt base to allow the six different hop additions of Citra, Mosaic, and Cascade to show their more subtle hop flavors. Crisp and medium-light in body, it spills with notes of mango, pine, grapefruit peel, as well as some light blueberry character from the Mosaic.
