Give Me Truth was brewed just one month after Tree House moved into the garage on East Hill Road in Monson and has rested peacefully in a Buffalo Trace barrel for over 22 months since. The content of that barrel is here for you today to enjoy. What went into the barrel as an innocent but decadent Imperial Stout emerged as an astonishing treat that tastes much like a bourbon soaked chocolate bar and carries the nuance of a beer that can only emerge from extreme care and patience. We taste sweet dark fruit, bourbon chocolate candy, molasses, toffee, vanilla, cocoa, hints of honey... Please drink slowly and allow the complexities to reveal themselves as it warms...
