Description: Bitter is a traditional beer offered in English bars. Original Pale Ale had been the first English beer brewed from paler coal-dried malts, however due to gradually cheaper hops its bitterness was increasing, hence the name Bitter. However, from today's point of view, this beer is neither entirely pale nor extraordinarily bitter. Traditionally it had been brewed in two varieties, weaker Ordinary and stronger Premium Bitter. In 1971 London's brewery Fuller created a third, strongest variety: Extra Special Bitter, thus defining an all new beer style. To brew our ESB, we have used authentic ingredients as is Pale Ale malt, inseparable hops sorts Fuggles and Challenger and Fuller's original yeast. The perfect balance of malty body with a hint of caramel on one hand and earthy bitterness of English hops on the other, is all but augmented by tender yeast esters evoking ripe pomes.
