Description: Manzanita Brewing Company has always loved its California home, but in August we will release a beer that pays tribute to the oldest style of California beer. Our Golden State of Mind, is a California Common or “Steam” style beer. We use un-kilned hops sourced from North Country Hops located five miles North of Chico, California. Using these fresh un-kilned hops allow the beer to take on a rich, rustic and dank flavor. The Steam Beer tradition dates back to the California Gold Rush era, where the style came out of necessity and lack of refrigeration. This is a definite California tradition. Drop by our tasting room to sample Golden State of Mind for yourself!! Golden State of Mind will be available, Tasting Room only, in bottles and on draft, Cheers!
