Description: We will be doing several different versions of a citrus rye beer. So far we have brewed batches and have a barrel aged version about to be released with four different citrus fruits including Japanese Yuzu. We like pairing the spice of the rye with sweet fresh squeezed and grated citrus and use citrus both in the boil and fermenter. Tropical Hops are certainly present and juicy on their but we use some hops with pine, spice, and grassy notes to complement the citrus tones. The last few batches have been brewed with local honey.
