Description: Saison du Blodget (prounounced blow-jay) is a blend of two hoppy saisons. Both beers were one-off batches. The first, 2011 Monk and Mingus, was brewed for the Cheers to Belgian Beers festival and used 25 pounds of Tettnanger and Liberty hops. The second, Todo Modo, was a session beer fermented with Saison DuPont yeast and hopped with East Kent Goldings and Santiams. A single cask of each was filled and lightly dosed with brettanomyces claussenii, aged for 10 and 5 months, respectively, then blended... Named for our friend and colleague, Corey Blodgett, who collaborates with us once a year for a new Monk and Mingus brew.
