Description: The Pie Cart was a South Australian Institution after a late night pub crawl. Taking inspiration from a Brews News article written by Paul Mecurio about adding Porter to Split green pea and ham soup, we have decided to make a Split green pea and ham Porter. This beer uses split green peas in the mash along with smoked malt to give a balanced character of ham and peas with a roasty porter backbone. A meal in a glass, perfect for the busy consumer. Brewed for GABS 2015.
