Description: Fall means changing colors, cooler weather, and a race toward the holiday season. This Thanksgiving inspired Ale is Vanessa House’s first beer of the holiday season. The first sip will put you right at the Thanksgiving dinner table. The true brilliance of this beer, is its ability to get you through that game of Pictionary that no one wants to play except that one family friend that started his or her celebration a bit early. The creation of one of our more inventive and daring owners, the Thanksgiving Ale is everything we love about the holiday in a glass. We mash in with premium Maris Otter malt, sweet potatoes and toasted pecans. We add brown sugar late in the boil to raise alcohol levels and leave some residual molasses in the beer.
