Description: Coffee Brown is our second collaboration with Zoe's Cafe in Downtown Greeley. Using their relational trade Peruvian coffee as the starting point, we brewed a Southern English Brown as the base beer. The caramel malt sweetness and fruity character of the Brown Ale complement the bright, fruity, and nutty contributions from the Peruvian coffee. We used our unique double coffee infusion technique of cold-brew toddy and whole bean steeping to get the most flavor and aroma out of the freshly roasted beans, without extracting too much bitterneess. The end result is an extremely complex yet approachable beer.
